Our design teams create a wide-ranging assortment of beautiful, versatile and spirited products for all areas of our customer's life. Our stores offer unexpected touches at every turn: rich interior furnishings; personal fitting room settings; embroidery and engraving on select products; an open door return policy; and payment transactions anywhere in the store.

C. Wonder is one of several lifestyle and consumer products brands being developed by J. Christopher Burch, founder and CEO of J. Christopher Capital, an entrepreneur and active investor across a wide range of industries for nearly thirty years. Mr. Burch has been a strategic investor in multiple technology and luxury brands, including Aliph (Jawbone), NextJump, PowerMat, Voss Water and Tory Burch.

C. Wonder begins with the customer: charming, chic and cheerful women who are ready for something wonderful to happen. Its goal is to inspire a world where women see themselves as savvy, creative and kind, ridiculously capable, uniquely beautiful, eminently stylish and very much worthy of adoration...as they are.

BUSINESS FOCUS:
First and foremost, "C" stands for Customer. The customer is at the core of C. Wonder's product design and store experience. The goal is to provide a combination of a luxury service and store setting with a great value on products - bringing together shopping experiences that have typically been mutually exclusive. With stores located in New York City's SoHo, The Westchester, Garden State Plaza and Roosevelt Field, 15 additional stores are planned in 2012.

CHALLENGE

Create an unconventional retail experience utilizing better, more flexible and less costly technologies without sacrificing functionality and security.

Overcome the typical technology challenges and costs of standard retail POS software and hardware.

Eliminate traditional fixed point of sale registers and deploy mobile POS on Apple handheld systems to allow sales associates to work closely with customers on the store floor.

SOLUTIONS

C. Wonder chose to deploy a Verifone solution utilizing its GlobalBay Mobile POS applications and PAYware Mobile Enterprise secure card acceptance devices for the iPod Touch.

The Verifone mobile solution integrates with C. Wonder's homegrown cloud-based ERP system to eliminate cumbersome and costly POS software and hardware.

Leverages Verifone's secure technologies to eliminate cumbersome POS software, costly cash registers, and servers.

RESULTS

The Verifone solution enables C. Wonder to push POS to the floor and allows associates to service customers wherever they are to expedite purchases, eliminate lines and increase customer loyalty.

With PAYware Mobile Enterprise providing end-to-end encryption of card transactions, C. Wonder is able to move card purchases out of PCI scope.

C. Wonder is equipped for growth and expansion, able to increase mobile units on the sales floor and implement its Verifone solution in new stores.
